You along a dark hallway that seems to wind its way into the lower floors of the school.

After a while, you finally reach the end of the corridor. The door looms ominously in front of you. A tarnished bronze plaque is attached to the door, and filthy rust covers up what little words are inscripted on it. The plaque reads 'Headmaster of the Academy'. You feel an icy shiver creep up your spine while reading this. However, you gather up the rest of your courage before opening the door, which swings open with a loud creak.

The sight that greets you freezes you in your tracks.

A dark young man who seems to be made of shadow glares at you as you step in. Seated on a large leather chair, his legs are crossed on the teacher's desk in front of him. The room is completely dark, and only a small amount of light streams in from a curtained window. His blood-red eyes seem to pierce into your soul, reading your thoughs like a book. They narrow, and he brings his gloved hand to brush away some of the white hair from his face. The black tunic he is wearing rustles quietly as he moves. His appearance was what one would call describe as 'the most sinister of all evil, yet handsome all the same'.

After a few creepy moments of silence, he smiles. But his expression seems to be that of malice.

As if he wants to throw you into a bottomless pit with raging fire burning at the bottom of it...

"Welcome," he says, his eyes glinting. "As you have probably seen, this is the Academy of Pokemon. Unlike our, shall I say, oppostision, we believe in the nuture and care of our Pokemon. We train them the best we can, raise their stats, teach them moves... the like. Not to mention giving them the best attention possible."

You strain to utter a few words, but nothing comes out of your mouth.

The dark man smiles again, as if to be more reassuring and less intimidating. "Don't go looking at me like that. I'm not a monster. You and all of the Pokemon here are going to be safe under my watch- unlike the last Headmaster we had... he had thrown the whole school into ruin. That is, until I came along and took care of him. And then I took over this academy as the might Headmaster."

"Wh-what do you mean? Who was the last headmaster?" You finally manage to say.

"What do I mean?" He laughs, which sounds like a short, ugly bark. "I will say that I merely took him to where justice must be done for all of his horrible actions. And the last Headmaster was a young man very much like me. But don't worry about that now. So tell me, what is your name?"

You tell him your name slowly. For some reason, you instantly regret the information you just told him. "And what is your name, Headmaster...?"

His expression seems to grow darker in the gloominess of the office. "You may call me Headmaster Link."
